Nueva Andalucia - something for everyone 
Nueva Andalucia is situated a few hundred metres to the north of Puerto Banus It is where most of the urbanisations of Puerto Banus have been built and its easy access to the town has proved its success.

The main focal point is the Bullring, which has recently been restored and renovated as an open-air concert arena and has many groups booked to play there. Alongside the Bullring is Centro Commercial Centro Plaza, which has wonderful boutiques, interior design shops, beauty salons and gymnasium as well as offices. Close by you have Puerto Banus with two huge shopping centres, El Corte Ingles and Marina Banus and within a five minute drive you are in Marbella with endless shops and boutiques. Nueva Andalucia has a Casino with an International restaurant and bars. The Casino has thirty game tables such as American Roulettes, French Roulettes, and Black Jack and over one hundred slot Machines.

The Saturday market is well worth a visit and has many stalls selling everything from leather goods to arts and crafts and is definitely well worth the visit.
 
Many of the best restaurants can be found in this area and Nueva Andalucia really is making quite a name for itself for this reason. There are some first class restaurants for those with a larger budget but there are also many more that cater for a more reasonable budget and families on holiday.
 
If you are a keen golfer you will find a multitude of courses in this area. This is the Costa del Golf or the original "Golf Valley" with about ten first class golf courses in the local area, suiting every budget and standard of player, it really is a golfers paradise. The courses include Aloha Golf, Los Naranjos, La Quinta, Las Brisas and La Dama de Noche, which is floodlit for night time play.

If you are looking for some sporting activities whilst on holiday the Nueva Andalucia  offers you different tennis clubs, paddle tennis, horse riding centres and gymnasiums. At the beach in Puerto Banus and Marbella you can find Jet Ski, kayaking, volleyball, wind and kite surf as well scuba diving.

Nueva Andalucia offers a number of trendy beach clubs in a picturesque setting. Here between San Pedro de Alcántara and Puerto Banús, Mistral Beach is perfectly situated. With panoramic views of much of the Costa del Sol, Mistral Beach is the ideal place in which to relax in the Andalusian sun. Mistral Beach also boasts one of the coasts finest beach restaurants, which offers great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Close by is Puerto Banus which is famous for its marina and the many luxury yachts moored there.  Puerto Banus which offers some of the most famous haute couture shops, boutiques of all kinds and colourful bric-a-brac shops, turning into a lively cosmopolitan port in the evening, blessed with an abundance of bars and clubs to suit all tastes. For the golf enthusiasts there is a wide range of golf courses in the vicinity.

Marbella is a truly luxurious resort which seems to have it all and is a favourite location with the rich and famous, as well as more ordinary folk who are willing to pay just a little bit extra for southern Spains answer to St Tropez. The Marbella coastline stretches along some 26 kilometres of sunny beaches from Guadalmina to Cabopino bathed by the Mediterranean and where you can enjoy traditional fish and seafood favourites like Paella, sardines on a spit, and  fried fish to name but a few. Marbella has a down to earth side as well which can be best appreciated by exploring the back streets in the old part of town. When visiting Orange Square, or "La Plaza de los Naranjos", as it is called in Spanish, you will find stately buildings, small shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants which are alive with activity both day and night. There are numerous excellent restaurants to choose from, ranging from those specialising in cordon bleu  to the backstreet Spanish bar where you can experience a huge selection of tapas or taste Serrano ham gently cured by tobacco smoke.
